UKEM – 10 Years In The Energy Industry

UKEM 10th Birthday

UK Energy Management, who provides a bespoke utility consultancy service, is celebrating a decade in business this month by sponsoring a series of networking events.

This includes February’s Facilities & Workplace London Networking Club, based at M Threadneedle Street, London, as well as other Essex-based events.

UK Energy Management started in 2010 on the back of frustration with the energy industry. Many businesses were paying non-contracted rates and being wasteful with their energy, often being overcharged and just paying their bills “because”.

UKEM was founded to go beyond the typical energy broker of the day – cheaper energy and high commissions for brokers just didn’t seem to go hand in hand, more value and better service was needed to improve the image of the energy industry.

“Our approach and values help not just businesses, but the environment, and we are proud of the last ten years and very much looking forward to the next ten and beyond.”

–Darren Jones

Operations Director, UK Energy Management

Now 10 years later UKEM works with partners delivering cheaper energy, being charged accurately along with energy efficiency within buildings and renewables. They work with a wide range of sectors, delivering cost and carbon reduction as well as compliance with new energy legislation that has emerged in those 10 years.

UKEM will be attending The Facilities & Workplace London Networking Club on 27th February 2020 as a sponsor. If you’d like to attend, please get your tickets here:
