Without knowing exactly what lockdown restrictions will be in place in December 2020, how is the FM sector planning to celebrate their office Christmas...
Read Full ArticleThisWeekinFM took around 150 of the FM's finest to the Ivory Vaults at St Katherine Docks in Central London for a festive lunch with acrobats, jugglers an amazing setting and a wonderful atmosphere - and then on to a local hostelry where the revelling continued until the late hours.
The guests, predominantly from the supplier side to the FM, workplace, built environment and related sectors, came together to network have some good food and wine to start this years’ festive period and to chat about how the year had been - and what 2020 will bring.

Thank you
A big thank you must go to the event sponsors; simPRO for being a supporting sponsor and uComply for sponsoring the name badges.
Also, a thank you to everyone for attending. This event wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.
Bubbly
The afternoon festivities kicked-off with a flowing, reception of prosecco, to lift everyone in to the party spirit. And then it was to sit down for a traditional (or non-traditional alternative) four-course lunch, which was nicely rounded off with some more entertainment and networking.
Auction
A silent auction ran through-out the event with all proceeds going directly to the chosen Charity, the Centre Algarve - an excellent cause supporting those with special needs, especially children. A portion of all tickets sales will also be donated to the Centre Algarve giving an estimated total of £3,000 being raised during the afternoon.
What the Dickens?
As seems to be a tradition for ThisWeekinFM events, the majority of guests continued the celebrations. Nearly three quarters of the guests descended on the Tavern Bar at the nearby Dickens Inn for a few more drinks (and to watch the footy) before going their separate ways.
Re-runs
A collection of digital takeaways are available on the ThisWeekinFM YouTube Channel; a Showreel here and a set of the GIFs and photographs captured on a photobooth here.

May your God go with you
The ThisWeekinFM team would like to wish all our guests and all our readers the compliments of the season and in just over a month, a Happy New Year. We look forward to communicating with you in a business-filled 2020!
