Safe Shores Monitoring – The Companion App

The Companion App is a BS8484 integrated lone worker safety app which transforms any Android or Apple smartphone into a lone worker safety device.

The app features a configurable sensor which automatically detects slips, trips and falls, or it can detect periods of inactivity where at risk lone workers may be unconscious due to hazardous environments or pre-existing health conditions.

The app also captures different moods indicated by lone workers to record employee wellbeing, helping to address mental health challenges in the workplace.

Safe Apps Ltd – StaySafe

The StaySafe lone worker app is designed to work alongside wearable technology and satellite tracking devices for remote employees.

The app claims to offer 16 per cent more coverage than any other lone worker app, as it switches between all available connections, including a low signal mode.

Once a session on the StaySafe has been started, managers have a full overview of where their staff are. If an employee fails to check-in safely, has an accident or raises an alert, managers can send help to their exact location.

The app also has a man-down feature which sends an alert to managers if an employee has not moved for a certain period of time.

Safe Pro allows an employee to call for help with the press of a button. The device can be worn in various ways, via a belt or wrist strap or as a windscreen mount for use in a vehicle.
