ThinkFM, that stalwart of the FM industry conference calendar is no more. The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management has announced a national summit operating simply as the IWFM Conference.

"At a time when our profession faces unprecedented disruption, the IWFM Conference has been curated to provide professionals with the insight, inspiration and skills to seize this opportunity and confirm the workplace and facilities management role as core to the business operation," said Linda Hausmanis, IWFM CEO. “Three themes: Disruption, Skills Perspective and Be the Change, will give attendees the tools to change perspective, alter narratives, adjust culture and go and be the leaders of the profession."

Hostage negotiator

The first national IWFM Conference will feature speakers from leading business schools, authors who explore the future of work, experts in digital marketing and even a hostage negotiator.

Difference-making

“We’ve curated this conference for difference-making” said Director of Insight Chris Moriarty. “The compilation of experts will power us through a programme that explores the macro environment, the changing nature of work, the skills required in this new world, and the motivational push needed to go and make a difference within organisations. It’s a cracking line up. I can’t wait for April”
