8 Solutions Purchase Brings ABM Acquisition Total to Four

ABM’s UK business and industry group has announced (Feb 28) the acquisition of one of the UK's leading providers of specialist technical cleaning and data centre healthcare services, 8 Solutions.

ABM is focused on becoming a major fully integrated facilities services provider in the UK. The company has previously acquired three other UK businesses: OmniServ - an airport services provider - in 2012; GBM Support Services Group - a cleaning, security, building maintenance, waste and facilities management services - in 2014; and Westway Services - a technical building services provider - in 2015.

The acquisition of 8 Solutions - which will now be known as 'ABM Critical Solutions' - is headquartered in Derbyshire, with further offices in London and the South-East. The company has amassed over 25 years’ experience of data centre healthcare boasting over 230 clients, which include BT, Everything Everywhere, Vodafone, Lloyds TSB, Legal & General, BP, GSK, National Grid, HP, IBM, CBRE, and Unilever.

 8 Solutions' core offerings include technical cleaning, testing & consultancy, airflow management, raised access flooring, remediation, fire stopping, contamination management and room integrity testing.
