Great FM Minds can Think Alike

The BIFM has announced further speakers on its ThinkFM conference.

Taking place on 13 May at King’s Place, London, The Competitive Edge agenda is sponsored by model service operator, Three and BMW.

Organised by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) it will consider how FM professionals and business leaders can gain a competitive advantage through the workplace and facilities management.

Sean Jones, Head of Property and Facilities Management at mobile giant Three and winner of the 2014 BIFM Award for Impact on Organisation and Workplace will be sharing Storyville: The tale of the ‘every day wonderful’ challenge @ Three.

The session will cover how Three created a connection and emotional contract between its employees and brand through the working environment; a bond that helped achieve the organisation’s aims. As an organisation which handles 45% of the UK's mobile data traffic, has 4,400 employees and 8 million active customers, Jones will share Three’s experience of how ‘effective collaboration’ can result in the ‘right behaviours’ and position FM as a key contributor to business success.

Adam Smith, Summit ONE Project Lead from BMW Group, will be telling delegates how physical environments can play a key role in supporting change in the organisation, through his More than a building project session. Smith will argue that if the building design and offering is approached in partnership with key strategic topics such as corporate behaviour, change and employee involvement, the power of buildings and facilities can be fully exploited in improving business results long after the building project is over.

Jones and Smith join the ThinkFM conference line up alongside a panel of experts in their field

Delegate places for ThinkFM can be secured via www.thinkfm.com/book and include a networking breakfast and lunch, and early-evening drinks reception.
