It's Blowing in the Wind

European Energy A/S has signed an agreement for the sale of a wind farm in Germany with a total capacity of 12mW.

The buyer of the facility is envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG, a German utility company.

The wind farm is located close to Cottbus and comprises five Nordex 2,4 MW wind turbines installed on 141m hybrid towers. The wind farm is under construction and is expected to be grid connected in Q2 2016 at which time the main condition precedent for the buyer's purchase of the wind farm will be met.

European Energy A/S was founded in 2004 and has developed 56 onshore wind farms and 19 PV plants corresponding to a total investment of 680 million. Its renewable energy plants partially or completely owned by the company currently produces enough clean energy to meet the needs of approximately 400.000 people.
