My Pod - Pop-Up Space At DesignJunction

03 November 2017 | Updated 01 January 1970

Add vibrancy to the high street, generate office space, supply instant retail space to commercial centres  or add an extra dimension to garden space with the Pod – a sustainable pop-up structure from Remote Possibilities

The Pods - which were launched at designjunction 2017 -  were used as the event’s box office and shared Granary Square in London’s Kings Cross with Trezor, Renault’s latest concept car.

From pop-up bars and retail space at festivals to semi-permanent commercial space and rooftop getaways, the Pod responds to any environment and can be purchased directly from Remote Possibilities starting at £13,450.

Available in three sizes – equal, plus and multiply – the Pod can also be leased on a short or long-term tenure and delivered and installed within a day for mainland UK orders.

Jason Pritchard, who founded Remote Possibilities in 2015, comments: “We address a very real 21st Century space issue through the creation of simple, sustainable and flexible structures that accommodate a variety of uses and respond to individual briefs or locations.”

Designed and hand-built in Herefordshire using a steel cube frame clad in lightweight fiberglass panels and incorporating Boavista’s fiberglass window frames, which set new industry standards in sustainability, durability and performance, the Pod’s modular design means that it can be situated anywhere to become an immediate and affordable space solution.

Neil Puttock, Managing Director of Boavista Windows, adds: “Whilst the cost of space is increasing, it doesn’t change that fact that people still crave attractive and enjoyable space. Remote Possibilities’ stunning design combined with Boavista’s sustainable and minimalist window frames has resulted in a versatile product steeped in style but that doesn’t compromise form, function or the environment.”
