Read Full ArticlePropTech company Plentific has launched “Inspections” – a software solution that automates the inspection process for residential and commercial property providers.
Using a mobile app, property managers can record maintenance and disrepair reports, voids, and Fire Risk Assessments. Issues raised are transformed into tasks and work orders.
Digital record keeping is also made easier, with streamlined work order management, reporting, and finance management. Documents such as surveys, tenancy reports, and compliance checks are easily accessed.
Cem Savas, CEO and Co-founder of Plentific, said: “Inefficient inspections and a lack of transparency have historically led to projects exceeding timelines and budget, rent loss at the end of tenancies, and even regulatory fines. Our new solution streamlines and automates inspections and repairs processes, while giving real estate providers visibility across their portfolio.”

As outlined in the Building Safety Act, all buildings should have maintenance records that are easily accessible to contractors. The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) and CIBSE all maintain that access to this information will be a major contributor to improvements in building safety in the future. Plentific’s platform enables this, automatically storing inspection reports, issues, and work order history.
Plentific also claims that limited PropTech solutions for inspections exist, and that no integrated solution brings inspections and work order management together in the way that this new product will.
Cem continued: “Plentific Inspections represents a milestone in the property management space. Now, providers can take control of their portfolio, capturing more robust data and benefitting from a reinforced golden thread across their operations. And this is truly a cross-segment tool, which is as useful to tradespeople, fire risk assessors, and inventory clerks as it is for social, private and commercial landlords.”
