Truvelo launches VIA-Cam 2

Truvelo (UK) will be launching its brand new speed camera, VIA-CAM 2.

Building on the success of VIA-Cam, VIA-Cam 2 offers enhanced enforcement over a wider road and now covers 2 lanes including dual carriage-way and simultaneous bi-directional enforcement. The very latest in camera sensor technology, high quality optics and sophisticated radar will deliver affordable performance around the clock, it is claimed.

VIA-Cam2’s web-based back office system will import offence images using a Wifi, Bluetooth or a 3/4G connection. Where no network is available, an Ethernet connection or removable media can be used. Thanks to its low energy consumption, VIA-Cam2 can be deployed on or off grid around a site for maximum flexibility, even on large sites where a mains supply is not available.
