International facilities management company, Macro has secured an FM helpdesk contract with the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, through Macro’s own helpdesk and CAFM provider fm24.

The fm24 helpdesk will handle all requests via a range of channels including telephone, web-portal and e-mail. Requests will be logged, prioritised and assigned onto the University’s own web-based CAFM system, to effectively control and monitor reactive maintenance activities. The University’s on-site team will then manage the tasks through to update and completion on the CAFM.

The University of Sharjah is a comprehensive academic institution with 14 colleges which offer 85 programmes at the bachelors, masters, doctoral and diplomas levels.
