Building Bulk by Buying Business

MJ Ferguson has acquired FP Cleaning Services, a London based contract cleaning business, to add to an FM group of businesses which now has a combined annual turnover in excess of £30 million.

FP Cleaning Services provides large scale contract cleaning of offices through to deep and clinical clean services for laboratories, hospitals and technical areas. The business counts the Commonwealth Secretariat, Goldcrest Post Productions and the European Commission amongst its portfolio of public and private sector clients.

The MJ Ferguson group of companies operates nationally offering facilities maintenance services including key streams in mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance, energy services, joinery & carpentry, cleaning, environmental and specialist services.

The firm employs over 200 peple

CEO Colin Cadwallader said: “It is important for our growth to make key strategic acquisitions. We intend to use FP Cleaning to grow our cleaning division. We have retained the senior management team, which is important to clients.

“We expect to make further acquisitions across the rest of the UK in the coming months.
