The Human-Centric Workplace, a new workplace transformation consultancy, aims to bridge the gap between leadership vision and employee experience.
Simone Fenton-Jarvis and Louisa Clarke, both recognised thought leaders in the FM profession, have co-founded the business to redefine how organisations think about work.
"Workplace transformation isn’t just about strategy—it’s about creating environments where people genuinely want to show up and contribute,” said Louisa.
“Our mission is to bridge the gap between leadership vision and employee experience, ensuring that workplaces are truly human-centric.”
The business will offer services in workplace strategy, executive coaching and change management.
As is common in FM, Simone and Louisa both came to the facilities management world from other sectors. Simone began her career as a gym instructor and PE teacher, and Louisa is a former Movements Controller with the Royal Air Force’s Air Movements Squadron.
Simone worked operationally in FM for several years before becoming Chief Workplace Officer, going on to consult for global organisations across multiple sectors. She also chairs the IWFM Workspace Special Interest Group and promotes LGBTQIA equality in the workplace and through her mentorship and writing.
Louisa was the first woman Operational Director in FM service provider Churchill Group’s history, and is well-known for advocating for veterans during their transition to civilian life, chairing IWFM’s Veterans in FM Network. Winner of awards such as Global Coaching & Leadership Provider Award 24/25 and Ex-Forces Business Leader of the Year 2022, Louisa is now a professional executive coach.
The Human-Centric Workplace is based on the premise that when people feel valued, connected, and supported, businesses thrive. The consultancy is named after Simone’s 2021 book “The Human Centric Workplace”, written in light of our sudden exposure to remote working due to the pandemic.
“Too many workplaces focus on processes and profits while neglecting the people who make them thrive,” said Simone.
“This is why we founded The Human-Centric Workplace, to help organisations create spaces where both people and businesses win."
