Access with the Click of a Button

Specialist building contractors offering both planned and reactive repairs and maintenance services could help control of their cash management system with the recent launch of the Wickes Repairs and Maintenance Card.

Users will have the flexibility to load a pre-agreed value on to the card at any time and as frequently as necessary. The instant load capability allows the contractor access to the funds immediately at the click of a button, ensuring they have the funds to purchase any products required to complete a job at the time they need it.

This enables many card holders to be linked to one account, putting building contractors in control of their purchasing while freeing employees to get on with the job. It is also claimed to eliminate the time consuming processing of expenses claims, petty cash and purchase orders.

As part of the Travis Perkins Group, the Wickes card offers what is said to be ‘significant purchasing power’ with the range of products available through a nationwide network of stores.

“Our card was created because we are fully aware of the frustrations many within the industry face when money isn't readily available, jeopardising the contractors plan to complete work on time,” assured Chris Pentland, National Sales Manager, Wickes for Business.
