BIFM Grabs a Pawn Cracker

25 February 2016 | Updated 01 January 1970

The British Institute of Facilities Management has announced the appointment of Ray Perry (currently Chief Executive of the National Pawnbrokers Association) as the Institute’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Perry's appointment comes after an extensive recruitment process following the November announcement that current CEO, James Sutton, would step down this summer.

Perry, who will take-up the post in late May, has also held director level positions at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Mattel Inc. His professional body, trade association and commercial experience will help with brand development, membership, training, qualifications and legislative influence.
