EMCOR has been awarded a five-year contract with Novartis UK for integrated facilities management for the Novartis portfolio of pharmaceutical sites in the UK. This represents an increased coverage of hard and soft services, including maintenance of product-critical clean rooms and laboratories, fire safety management, project management, catering, waste management services, post room, switchboard, porterage and laundry. EMCOR will also manage Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) air filtration testing and validation, HVAC validation compliance management and specialist high-risk and critical transportation during production, helping to ensure safe movement of product between factories.
