Custom Concrete Wall Finish

A stunning concrete effect feature wall for a chain of exclusive estate agencies in London has been achieved by Aliva UK.

Brinkley’s Estate Agents, that has branches in affluent areas of London including Putney and Wimbledon Hill, have chosen the concrete style effect finish by Aliva as it believed it reflected its attitude of ‘a modern approach to traditional values’.

Aliva was set the task by Five Interiors and had to produce a finish with an authentic concrete aesthetic, complete with panel shapes and pitted bolt holes which it did using its Metropolis Colours range of paints and polished plasters, creating a custom style that matched the customer’s initial design using Old Time Max, a plaster paste that creates marble look finishes. The dark grey finish contrasted with the company’s bright red company logo, making a bold stand-out feature wall in the estate agent’s contemporary styled offices.

“Aliva UK offered us an individual industrial look for a feature wall and we used this as an accent piece in three offices, achieving an authentic concrete effect, with stunning results,” explained Richard Allen, Senior Interiors Consultant, Five Interiors. Metropolis approved contractor Regency Plastering applied the polished plaster.
