Getting Well Floored

The Nuway rigid entrance flooring system from Forbo Flooring Systems, has been improved to provide specifiers with more choice. Along with the reliable high performance characteristics that Nuway is known for, the collection now boasts a more design-orientated approach as well as sustainable options.

The original Nuway Tuftiguard Classic and Design collections now benefit from two new scraper bar options.  The Black Anodized option is said to provide a contemporary matt black aesthetic, compared with standard aluminium bars. The design features fully black bars, apart from a strip along the tip where the finish has been removed to reveal a thin, contrasting streak of aluminium.

Designed in response to the demand for a natural, sustainable rigid entrance product, Bamboo is seen as a robust and reliable option that sits well with interior wood finishes and other floor coverings. Forbo argues that its environmentally friendly nature, coupled with its warm wood aesthetics, provides specifiers with an attractive entrance flooring option.

Both of these scraper options offer a significant benefit to public buildings as they do not create a strobe effect in bright entrances, which helps to achieve compliance with the Equality Act.
