Read Full ArticleWith rapid digitising and developing new technologies and processes for design and construction phases, CIRIA’s event follows on from the government’s recently published Digital Built Britain – Level 3 Building Information Modelling – Strategic Plan.
The event will examine the progress towards a digital construction industry, focusing on major infrastructure projects, infrastructure asset and information management and the move to BIM level 3.
Delegates at this CH2M hosted CIRIA Network event will be able to experience:
Hear an overview of the Digital Built Britain Strategy recently released.
Share knowledge and experience of integrated management of information across asset lifecycles.
Receive a demonstration of the BIM Delivery Cube and its benefits in meeting BIM level 2 targets by 2016.
Examine emerging issues in relation to contractual impacts of BIM how to spot these.
Review current best practice in standardising data for BIM level 3 and whole life asset and information management.
Explore the visions and aspirations of the digital construction industry from current and future industry leaders.
