Mitie addresses ‘momentous changes’ in future working practices at The Cleaning Show 2015

08 March 2015 | Updated 01 January 1970

Mitie has announced details of its keynote address at The Cleaning Show 2015, entitled ‘How will you be working in 2020?’ It will be repeated each day in the Lecture Theatre at 11.15am.

The address will consider changes taking place in the cleaning industry, particularly the impact of agile working practices on commercial property and emerging technologies. It will also examine how cleaning contractors and their workforces need to widen their skill sets to cope with the changes.

The address will be underpinned by research from Mitie’s executive relationship programme, for which it interviewed many of its clients’ property directors.

Paul Castle, Solutions Director for Mitie's cleaning business, and Peter Smith, who helped develop the executive relationship programme, will deliver the address.

Rob Cattell, MD for Mitie’s cleaning business, said: “Operating within an extremely challenging marketplace forces many companies to focus too much on the here and now and sometimes ignoring the longer term picture. In this keynote address we will deliver our view of the momentous changes taking place over the next five years.”
