No Clutter with this Gutter Vac

18 July 2014 | Updated 01 January 1970

A new generation of high reach gutter cleaning equipment has been launched after five years of development by Spacevac Technologies.

Operated from ground level, the new system is claimed to have four major features:

  • It removes operational guesswork as it comes with a CCTV camera on the cleaning head.
  • Claimed to reach higher than any other product, i.e. 4 storeys (14m).
  • It has greater suction power and will ‘safely remove’ an engineering brick from a gutter.
  • Its carbon fibre tubes is said to make it lighter than any other competing product.

The Spacevac is powered by a Nilfisk Altro vacuum and the poles have a new locking system that ensures no reduction in diameter at the joins, so eliminating tube blockages. It can also be assembled on the ground by one person.
