Read Full ArticleOn the way home from last weeks editorial meeting one of the ThisWeekinFM team witnessed (and apprehended the thief!!) in what is going to be an increasing problem in the run up to Christmas.
It is a very simple crime and sadly oh so easy.
The thief sits next to someone asleep on the train, taps them to see if they wake up, if they don't, they take the phone, quickly passing to another person just in case seen.
Simple, fast, and efficient.
Some lessons
1) Try not to sleep if possible, but with Christmas on the way...
2) If you are tired make sure your valuables are out of sight (and not on your lap) in a pocket where you would be woken up if interferred with.
3) Be aware of others around you.
Be safe, be aware.
