Plug and Play Biomass with Rural Energy

08 May 2015 | Updated 01 January 1970

Rural Energy has launched the AIRMatic Biomass Space Heater – a new compact version. The AIRMatic is a standalone, modular unit that has been developed specifically to heat large volume spaces.

The AIRMatic has minimal installation requirements. The system can be mounted in almost any location – all that is needed is a single-phase 230 V electrical supply, space for flue penetration, a water supply and a level floor.

It delivers rapid heating whilst offering potential energy cost savings. In addition, the efficient boiler is fully compliant with the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), providing additional income that could be as much as £135,000 over the 20-year life span of the scheme.

Paul Clark, MD of Rural Energy, said: “The AIRMatic addresses a gap in the current biomass market and provides warehouse owners and managers with an easy, off-the-shelf solution that will pay dividends. We are well aware that in warehousing space is at a premium, but with this only a couple of spare square metres are needed to make the switch to biomass.
