Pot of Gold at Rainbow

Contract cleaning and FM specialist, Nviro, has raised £2,700 for The Rainbow Centre in Fareham. The charity provides support for children and adults with neurological conditions that affect mobility, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, head injury and stroke.

Using a system of learning called ‘conductive education’, The Rainbow Centre encourages and teaches children/participants to take an active role in their own development.

Nviro organised a charity quiz night and hog roast buffet at the Royal Beach Hotel in Southsea, which provided the venue and services free of charge. Quiz prizes were donated by a number of local companies, including Southern Windows, Hoopers Services, Ceris Burns International, Bunzl and Krispy Kreme Portsmouth.

Brian Warren, MD, Nviro, commented: “The evening was an amazing success, giving people the chance to have fun, while also raising money for a very worthwhile local cause. We are delighted that our donation will help individuals and their families, who need support to face the life changing issues caused by debilitating neurological conditions and injuries.”
