Read Full ArticleWith over 40 years of experience, SEE Services have the knowledge and expertise to provide market-leading, reliable hard and soft FM with infrastructure services nationwide via the skilled team of mobile engineers backed by responsive behind-the-scenes support.
We spoke to Strategy & Development Director Jeff Alden about what sets SEE apart from others, and how the industry will need to smartly utilise data to bring buildings into the future.
"To be successful, you've got to be insightful. You have to be able to navigate through the dead ends and miscommunications that come within this business.
How can we create a smart building?"
– Jeff Alden
Strategy & Development Director, SEE Services
From family roots to comprehensive solutions across the UK, Jeff explains that this gives the business both flexibility and familiarity, something that has had to strengthen even further by the adaptation under the pandemic's pressure. "Ultimately it's about [that and] the innovation that you can take from a very, very trying time," he said. "We've had really brilliant support from our clients, and a great commitment from our people."
It's clear that our needs from facilities are still evolving – it takes efficient partnerships to provide for them in ageing properties. "To be successful, you've got to be insightful. You have to be able to navigate through the dead ends and miscommunications that come within this business. How can we create a smart building? Because most of [the buildings needing management] are old.
"You've got to navigate through those challenges to deliver great service, great customer experiences, but at the same time, dealing with things that are inherently difficult to maintain, difficult to manage. We've got over 30-year relationships, and that just says, we obviously do the right thing for them and continue to evolve to do the right thing."
"You become the shadow of where they want to be, how they want to develop and interact."
