Smile for the Camera and Watch the Birdies

Aylesbury Vale District Council has had the help of an ‘eye in the sky’ camera for tracking its famous peregrines.

An outdoor cleaning specialist has been able to help Aylesbury Vale District Council track the birds’ progress without being intrusive in any way.

CAM Specialist Support is known in the UK cleaning and FM sectors but on this occasion it installed a special ‘cam’ on the top of the county hall building, where two peregrine falcons decided to make their nest where they have been a fixture at the site in Aylesbury for the last three years.

CAM has a range of cleaning and maintenance services and was able to draw upon its experience in the maintenance of tall buildings for this latest project.

“The birds are currently brooding three eggs, which we hope will hatch successfully later in April,” said Sean Canty, Director, CAM Specialist Support. “The CAM ‘cam’ will enable people from around the world to watch the footage online, something the team are incredibly proud of.”
